Dr. Thomas Tan, Ph.D., P.Eng.

B.Sc. Chemical Engineering (First Class Honours) - University of Birmingham, England, 1974.

M.Sc. Petroleum Engineering- Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, 1975.

Ph.D. Chemical Engineering - University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, 1991.

Dissertation: "Parameter Estimation in Reservoir Simulation". This thesis presents the first practical three-dimensional three-phase reservoir simulator with automatic history matching capability.

PetroStudies Principal and specialist in the research, development and application of Reservoir Simulation models. He has conducted extensive research in Reservoir Engineering, PVT behavior, numerical solution techniques, optimization methods, multiphase flow in tubulars. Dr. Tan has conducted many reservoir simulation studies for Canadian and International clients and delivered many courses on reservoir simulation. Thomas is the driving force behind the EXODUS/EXOTHERM software suite.

Dr. Tan is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta, Canada.

Mr. Richard Pike, B.Sc., P.Eng.

B.Sc. Chemical Engineering, University of Calgary, 1981

PetroStudies Principal, Director and Chief Reservoir Engineer accomplished in the application of reservoir simulation technology to deliver optimized depletion planning and property value maximization. Proficient in team leadership and the coordination of technical experts of other disciplines. Accomplished developer of software tools designed to assist in the analysis of complex reservoir performance.

Mr. Pike has valuable pre-graduation experience in the Oil and Gas business. He started consulting 5 years after graduation covering both domestic and international assignments. The projects Mr. Pike has worked on included many analytical studies and in excess of 75 numerical reservoir simulations with a number of these involving compositional fluid descriptions and/or fractured reservoirs. Over the years Richard has contributed programming efforts to the EXODUS/EXOTHERM software suite and taught over 25 courses on reservoir simulation using EXODUS.

Mr. Pike is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta, Canada.

Mr. Robert (Bob) Slevinsky, B.Sc.

B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (with distinction) - University of Alberta, 1973

Technical Specialist with a wide range of experience understanding all types of petroleum reservoirs and performing many reservoir simulations. Mr. Slevinsky is proficient at developing both conventional and thermal reservoir simulation models for complex situations.

He has a proven expertise in implementing and administering computer network systems built from diverse hardware platforms. Extensive programming experience in Fortran, VB, C, and assembly language in diverse computer environments. Developer of production history databases incorporating all technical well data for government and private sector clients. Bob also provides support for the EXODUS/EXOTHERM software suite.

Mr. Peter Nguyen

Senior programmer covering all software interfaces.

Peter has been involved in the Exodus/Exotherm suit of software development since 2001.
